Abstract: A $\Delta-$semigroup is a semigroup whose lattice of congruences is a
chain with respect to inclusion. {\sc Schein} [9] and {\sc Tamura} [11]
have
investigated commutative $\Delta-$semigroups, {\sc Trotter} [13]
exponential,
{\sc Nagy} [4] weakly exponential and {\sc Bonzini} and {\sc Cherubini
Spoletini}
[2]
finite $\Delta-$semigroups. The pupose of the present paper is to
investigate archimedean weakly commutative and $\cal H-$commutative
$\Delta-$semigroups
