Abstract: In this paper, we continue our considerations in [2] on two-scale
difference equations, mainly with respect to continous solutions.
Moreover, we study refinable step functions and piecwise polynomials.
Also, solutions with noncompact support are considered. New algorithms
for the approcimative computation of continous solutions are derived.
